The horticulture categories are:
Class 1. 1 x Marrow for weight
Class 2. 1 x Pumpkin for weight
Class 3. 3 x Onions
Class 4. 3 x Potatoes
Class 5. 3 x Carrots (must have 1” to 2” foliage)
Class 6. 3 x Beetroots
Class 7. 3 x Runner Beans (must have some stalk)
Class 8. 1 x Cucumber
Class 9 3 x Tomatoes (must have calyces)
Class 10. 3 x Cooking Apples
Class 11. 3 x Dessert Apples
Class 12. 3 x Pears
Class 13. 3 x Plums
Class 14. Any 3 x single variety vegetables of your choice
Children’s horticulture categories
(Judged in ages 0 to 6 years old and 7 to 11 years old)
01. Picture of a Horse – mixed media – A5
02. A Rosette – any media- any size.
03. A Horse made from vegetables, fruit, foliage.
Please bring you entries to the Horticulture Tent, on the festival site,
between 10.00 and 12.00 on Saturday the 6th of September.
