Don’t forget to review the rules and guidance for taking part in any of the horticulture, baking or produce categories and ensure its fair and fun for everyone.
Horticulture, produce and baking rules
1. Classes 1-23 must be grown by exhibitor
2. Carrots must have 1” to 2” foliage.
3. Beans must have some stalk.
4. Tomatoes must have calyces.
5. Any suitable vase or container may be used for flower displays.
6. Paper plates will be provided for fruit, vegetable and bake-off.
7. Classes 24 – 29 must be made by exhibitor
8. Covers will be provided for baking entries.
9. All exhibits must be booked into the Horticulture Tent between 10.00 and 12.00 on Saturday 6th.
10. The Horticulture Tent will be closed for judging between 12:00 and 13:00 on Saturday 6th.
11. Entries can be removed from the horticulture tent once judging is complete if the exhibitor wishes.
12. If you wish to keep your entries, please remove them from the horticulture tent by 16.00 on Sunday. Any entries remaining in the horticulture tent will be disposed of or donated to the Tuxford Food Bank.
